Is Hijama the same as dry cupping?

No. Hijama (wet cupping) involves small, superficial incisions so a small amount of blood is drawn into the cup, traditionally understood as removing stagnant blood. Dry cupping only uses suction, with no bloodletting.

Is there a free online Hijama course with a certificate?

Free courses exist, but a certificate only means something if someone has checked that you can perform Hijama safely. Hijama involves incisions, so infection control, client screening and correct technique need to be assessed, not assumed. Our course includes a practical case study that Taher and Nadine review personally before your certificate is issued.
